Saturday october 20th will mark the first attempt at trying to organise a table soccer event in Montreal. I am also aware that Impact will travel to Toronto and face TFC, meaning I may not have the amount of participants needed for the new WASPA scheme of things.
I have two boards at the rec centre where I have my table hockey club, and if enough participants are found (people that can make the trek to Montreal are welcome) I'll make slight adjustments to the area along the sidelines, as there isn't much space to do flick-ins.
If interested, message me here. I'll get back to you.

you only need 2 to qualify for CSTFA. And 3 to qualify for WASPA.

2 is no fun, 3 would be fine because the one not playing oversees the action. 2 times 3 would be OK, let's give it some time , perhaps people in and around Montreal may see this and say: why not? But if they're too scared to face me, then there's nothing I can do about it.

Hi Pikolo, Often the best way to get in touch with the guys is on Facebook. Our page is here.. www.facebook.com/groups/293672447359191/ Pierre would definately be your contact in Montreal to show you how the game works!

subbuteo is the true table soccer game, and I may have something here instead of going on eBay...
may set something up for december 15th, we'll see, depending on working commitments...

sites.google.com/site/howtoplaysubbuteo/These videos are a great introduction on how to play Subbuteo. My advice to you is if you sit down to learn it with a friend start with turn base play (offense flicks then defense flicks etc.) Once you are comfortable with flicking then play the game 'at speed' as it is designed for. (The defense has a right to a defensive flick after a offensive flick, however the offense DOES NOT HAVE TO WAIT for the defender) Biggest thing is to have fun and if you have questions ask them!

Hello everyone! Just found out your thread! Guess you guys never went on with the event. Anyway, as Shane could confirm it, we have re-started the Club de Subuuteo de Montreal, and our next meeting is "supposedly" on Friday February the 15th.
Feel free to contact me at either address:

Be well
